Blue point manual turnout controller

 · I just use the 'Blue Point' turnout control system. I mention it because it does use a plastic cable within another plastic cable to move the 'manual' turnout controller. It might give you some ideas. I do believe the 3' cables are available separately. Edit Note: Oops, the OP beat me to it.  · To clarify,it's very possible for two blue point controllers to be operated by one knob. Using one controller for two turnouts would be much harder. For a crossover you'd just install two controllers and link the knob to them so one position is normal (points set straight) and the other position is reversed (points thrown for crossover).
